Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architecture, performance, and scalability of services based on Salesforce Platform and Node.js.

• Ensure that architectural choices adhere to the best practices of Salesforce and cloud engineering.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for Salesforce applications.

• Guide senior engineers and collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to swiftly deliver high-quality solutions.

• Oversee a development team of 10 to 15 members by establishing objectives, conducting one-on-one meetings, fostering career growth, recruiting engineering talent, and eliminating obstacles.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, encompassing code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership roles for engineering teams.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce technical architecture with a focus on designing scalable enterprise solutions.

• Strong background in Node.js along with a clear perspective on developing maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using modern APIs and integration methodologies.

• Profound understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• History of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment processes in production settings.

• Established ability to nurture engineers, hire effectively, and lead high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation of deployment processes.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Experience in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
