Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, performance, and scalability of services based on the Salesforce Platform and Node.js.

• Ensure that architectural choices adhere to best practices in Salesforce and cloud engineering.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to swiftly deliver high-quality solutions.

• Manage a development team consisting of 10 to 15 engineers.

• Establish goals and conduct one-on-one meetings.

• Foster career growth and recruit engineering talent.

• Eliminate obstacles for the team.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, which includes code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, including over 3 years in leadership roles within engineering teams.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce technical architecture, focusing on the design of scalable enterprise solutions.

• Strong background in Node.js with a well-defined perspective on developing maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using modern APIs and integration patterns.

• In-depth understanding of software architecture, including scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• A history of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment processes in production settings.

• Proven ability to mentor engineers, effectively recruit talent, and lead high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Possession of Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Experience in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
