This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of clients through strategic and tactical planning, proactive engagements, client interactions, and yearly review strategies.
• Promote additional products and services by employing a consultative sales approach.
• Act as the primary escalation contact for service-related concerns and develop resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and brokers on qualified plan design matters and clarify plan provisions.
• Evaluate discrimination testing rules and outcomes, offering solutions for any failed tests.
• Provide guidance to clients and advisors regarding plan improvements, upgrades, and investment contract conversions.
• Relay information about product and service improvements, changes in investment options, and new offerings from Transamerica.
• Educate clients on company processes, procedures, and participant/plan sponsor systems and technology.
• Advise on strategies and options for participant communication.
• Organize workshops and oversee the fulfillment of enrollment materials.
• Assess the effectiveness of strategies and programs through reporting.
• Offer counsel on plan termination matters and process termination requests.
• Keep track of corporate actions, such as mergers and acquisitions, while proactively advising clients and advisors.
• Balance the interests of clients and providers effectively.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent education/experience.
• Seven years of experience in the retirement industry or a comparable field.
• Possession of FINRA Series 6 and 63 and Life insurance licenses, or the ability to obtain them within six months.
• Deep understanding of ERISA regulations and trends within the retirement industry.
• Advanced knowledge of retirement programs and plan management, encompassing technical, compliance, administration, investment, and participant solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Research proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Competence in using MS Office applications.
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel frequently, between 25% to 50% of the time.
