Lead Civil Site Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the construction, installation, inspection, and testing of Site Civil works for buildings, equipment foundations, utilities, permits, security requirements, and additional civil works during the project OTR phase, while also participating in the ITO phase as necessary.

• Manage subcontractor progress and oversee the planning of Site resources.

• Collaborate with clients, site consultants, project management, MEP works, engineering, EHS, quality, and security systems stakeholders.

• Cultivate and utilize extensive technical knowledge of civil works to implement the construction strategy.

• Assist with estimation and execution efforts.

• Supervise and inspect the execution of civil works, ensuring adherence to QA/QC and EHS requirements.

• Conduct civil works quantity surveying/take-off and validate invoices.

• Prepare timely site documentation, including daily, biweekly, monthly, lookahead, incident, PTW, and QA/QC reports.

• Ensure all contractual terms, conditions, and obligations are fulfilled.

• Participate in internal and customer technical and progress meetings.

• Ensure compliance of site activities with company environmental, health, and safety guidelines and procedures.

• Provide expert advice on complex projects.

• Plan and potentially recommend and implement policies and procedures.

• Identify project scope, apply SE specifications/standards, and analyze claims.

• Support site visits, missions, and presentations.

• Foster customer satisfaction and assist in business growth initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

• At least 8 years of experience managing site civil works at 380kV substations and other power projects.

• In-depth knowledge of civil works construction, installation, and quality processes, including collaboration with MEP and electrical equipment installation activities.

• Strong understanding of civil works codes, standards, quality processing, quantity surveying/take-off, and resource planning/estimation.

• Valid driver's license and passport.

• Proficient in English.

• Legal eligibility to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time limitations.

• Willingness and ability to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by site assignments.

• Capability to comprehend and execute architectural and structural technical drawings and general layouts.

• Strong computer proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office Software Suite.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to both business and technical personnel.

• Openness to travel and relocate both domestically and internationally.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
