This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and manage comprehensive bid activities from initial opportunity assessment to proposal submission and program transition.
• Provide support for ongoing U.S. initiatives that require immediate bid leadership and coordination efforts.
• Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams encompassing business development, engineering, pricing, contracts, operations, and review groups.
• Foster alignment among stakeholders to guarantee a clear bid strategy, compliance, and effective execution.
• Collaborate with corporate proposal resources to seamlessly integrate proposal development efforts.
• Aid in the consistent application and enhancement of bid and proposal processes, templates, and reporting methodologies.
• Work with colleagues in Sweden to ensure adherence to Saab T&S global practices.
• Monitor and convey bid status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement in bid quality, efficiency, and probability of winning.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Bid Manager in intricate, competitive settings, ideally within the U.S. federal or defense market.
• Experience in supporting pricing or cost estimation activities, with a thorough understanding of calculation methodologies for both product and service proposals, in collaboration with Proposal Finance and Program Finance leads.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. proposal and acquisition procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence others without direct authority.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Capacity to operate effectively in a cross-cultural environment and collaborate with international teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
