This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee capture initiatives for designated federal opportunities from the qualification phase through the transition to proposal.
• Create and uphold capture plans utilizing established capture methodologies and Shipley Capture Management best practices.
• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional pursuit teams, ensuring activities, assignments, milestones, and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Deliver consistent updates to Growth and Business Unit leadership regarding capture advancement, risks, obstacles, competitive positioning, and required support.
• Collaborate with account and Growth teams to gain insights into customer missions, priorities, acquisition strategies, and procurement timelines.
• Assist in planning customer and industry engagement, including call strategies and intelligence gathering.
• Perform competitive analysis and support competitive evaluations, win themes, differentiators, and overall positioning.
• Work alongside subject matter experts, solution architects, delivery leaders, and stakeholders to craft customer-centric solutions.
• Identify and assess potential teaming partners and manage teaming efforts.
• Aid in responding to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other federal procurement processes.
• Engage in gate reviews and contribute to technical, management, staffing, pricing, and pursuit strategies.
• Synchronize capture efforts with proposal management for a seamless transition into proposal creation.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Contracts, Recruiting, People Operations, Delivery, and other internal teams.
• Detect capture risks and formulate mitigation strategies alongside leadership and pursuit teams.
• Keep precise capture documentation, opportunity details, action items, and pursuit status updated.
• Participate in lessons learned and the ongoing enhancement of capture processes and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of pertinent professional experience.
• Relevant experience may replace educational requirements.
• Experience in supporting or managing capture activities within the federal government contracting sector.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the business development, capture, or proposal lifecycle.
• Experience in supporting federal RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, or comparable procurement activities.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting principles.
• Understanding of standard federal contract types, such as Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), and Cost-Plus contracts.
• Familiarity with GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and other federal contract vehicles.
• Experience in conducting customer, market, and competitive research for federal opportunities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a dynamic remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred: experience supporting technology, digital services, IT modernization, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or software development initiatives within the federal government.
• Preferred: experience with Shipley or similar capture and proposal management frameworks.
• Preferred: experience assisting competitive assessments, win themes, solution development, teaming strategies, or price-to-win activities.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with federal civilian or health agencies.
• Preferred: familiarity with federal procurement systems, opportunity research tools, and capture management platforms.
