This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of the technical vision for CareDx’s BI ecosystem, establishing standards for modeling, governance, and best practices.
• Design enterprise semantic models and steer the long-term BI strategy.
• Provide technical guidance and lead BI development methodologies.
• Construct and enhance enterprise-level Power BI models, datasets, and dashboards.
• Create advanced DAX and efficient data models for large-scale analytical purposes.
• Manage Power BI governance, focusing on RLS, deployment pipelines, workspace design, and reusable components.
• Facilitate self-service BI by offering training, documentation, and support to stakeholders.
• Design and execute scalable pipelines utilizing Databricks, SQL, and PySpark.
• Collaborate with data engineering to guarantee clean, accurate, and high-quality analytical data.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architecture to enhance BI delivery.
• Engage with business leaders to convert requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Convey insights and impact decision-making across various teams.
• Promote ongoing enhancements in BI processes, performance, and reliability.
• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Over 6 years of experience in BI development, including lead or architect-level roles.
• Proficient in Power BI with expert knowledge in DAX, modeling, optimization, and governance.
• Significant experience with Databricks, SQL, Delta Lake, and PySpark.
• In-depth understanding of relational and dimensional modeling.
• Demonstrated capability to lead BI strategies, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.
• BI/Cloud certifications are advantageous.
