Lead Architect, Oracle EBS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal architect for Oracle E-Business Suite environments.

• Deliver technical leadership and architectural guidance for Oracle EBS R12/R12.2.

• Design and manage Oracle environments on OCI.

• Resolve intricate Oracle technical challenges utilizing robust SQL/PLSQL skills.

• Create and maintain solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and business continuity.

• Lead or assist in Oracle EBS migrations, upgrades, and carve-out/separation initiatives.

• Integrate Oracle EBS with Hyperion/EPM and applicable enterprise middleware.

• Collaborate with teams distributed across various geographical locations and manage offshore/onshore delivery models.

• Articulate complex Oracle architecture to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Develop documentation and uphold architectural governance.

• Function as a hands-on architect when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, with substantial expertise in technical leadership and architecture.

• Profound knowledge of Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 architecture.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Oracle EBS application and database tiers.

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or later versions.

• Strong grasp of EBS architecture, Concurrent Processing, Forms/Reports, OAF, WebLogic/OHS, AutoConfig, ADOP, ADPATCH/OPatch, EBS cloning, and upgrades.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware.

• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite / WebLogic.

• Proven experience in architecting or supporting Oracle environments on OCI.

• Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and business continuity processes.

• Proficient in SQL/PLSQL with the capability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Practical experience with Oracle Hyperion/EPM, especially in Planning, Essbase, or Financial Management.

• Experience in integrating EBS with Hyperion/EPM.

• Familiarity with Vertex Tax Engine / Vertex O Series.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion.

• Knowledge of Oracle WebCenter.

• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata.

• Experience with Oracle Retail applications.

• Knowledge of enterprise financial applications, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, and Order Management.

• Experience with OCI networking, security, and cloud architecture.

• Proficient in Python/Shell scripting and infrastructure automation.

• Experience leading large-scale Oracle EBS migrations, upgrades, or carve-out/separation initiatives.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to convey complex Oracle architecture to both technical and business audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to operate as a hands-on architect when required.

• Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams and managing offshore/onshore delivery models.

• Strong documentation and architectural governance capabilities.
