Lead Architect, German (Pre-sales)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive solution design, architecture, and provide technical leadership for intricate customer opportunities and transformation initiatives.

• Serve as the primary solution architect during pre-sales activities and customer engagements.

• Facilitate customer workshops in both German and English.

• Evaluate business, operational, and technical requirements.

• Convert customer needs into complete solution architectures and service designs.

• Assist with RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, bid preparation, solution proposals, and customer presentations.

• Formulate and advocate for solution concepts with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with sales and account teams to assess and finalize deals.

• Prepare effort estimations, service costing, resource planning, and technical risk evaluations.

• Present solution strategies, migration concepts, and transformation roadmaps.

• Act as a senior escalation point, reviewer, and approver for architectural decisions and technical risks.

• Lead international virtual teams comprising up to 15 internal resources, suppliers, and vendors.

• Oversee the design, planning, and execution of contractually agreed services and solution outcomes.

• Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, and solution governance meetings.

• Foster alignment among sales, delivery, operations, vendors, and customer stakeholders.

• Ensure a smooth transition from solution design to transformation and handover to operational delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Information Technology.

• Relevant field-specific professional certification.

• Recognized certification in processes or methodologies.

• Expert-level knowledge of Operating Systems.

• Expert-level knowledge of Networking technologies.

• Advanced understanding of IT Security principles and technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of Programming Languages.

• Advanced familiarity with Virtualization technologies.

• Expert-level insight into relevant domain-specific applications.

• Strong communication, analytical thinking, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

• Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching others.

• Sound financial literacy and business acumen.

• Experience in Project Management.

• Proven leadership skills.

• Familiarity with Quality Management processes.

• Proficient in English (C1).

• Proficient in German (C1).

• Extensive knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and products.

• Expert knowledge and experience with ICT environments validated by professional-level certification exams, preferably from various vendors.

• Experience with enterprise architectural frameworks, service-oriented architecture, and developing architecture roadmaps.

• Ability to establish, implement, and uphold appropriate standards to meet business needs.

• Complex understanding of organizational structures, practical tool usage, KPIs, and their relation to QM.

• Capability to create and maintain technical documentation for intricate solutions.

• Good knowledge of IT processes in line with industry-standard certification.
