
Lead Application Engineer, Flexible Packaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Lead demonstrations, line trials, start-up assistance, troubleshooting, and training sessions that validate product efficacy, address customer issues, and promote the adoption of Henkel technologies.
• Act as the technical intermediary between clients and departments including Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
• Offer technical assistance to designated regional customers, encompassing product suggestions, complaint investigations, field issue analysis, and analytical problem-solving.
• Organize and carry out laboratory assessments and field trials for customer demonstrations, troubleshooting, value assessment, and technology integration.
• Create visit reports, troubleshooting summaries, value quantification analyses, and technical recommendations.
• Convey findings and conclusions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and present customer training programs and technical presentations on laminating adhesives, coatings, application methods, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices.
• Provide market-specific knowledge through customer interactions, industry participation, professional organizations, and technical associations.
• Fulfill all required site and field safety protocols.
• Enhance technical and professional skills through continuous learning, mentoring, and active involvement in technical communities.
• Experience in field application support within flexible packaging, laminating adhesives, or coatings.
• Proficiency in product demonstrations, line trials, start-up support, troubleshooting, and customer training.
• Understanding of laminating adhesives, coatings, application methods, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices.
• Capability to plan and conduct laboratory evaluations and field trials.
• Skill in performing complaint investigations and analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, troubleshooting summaries, value quantification analyses, and technical recommendations.
• Proficient in delivering technical presentations and customer training programs.
• Familiarity with professional organizations and technical associations.
