This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Lead product demonstrations and technology showcases focused on coatings, along with conducting coating trials, troubleshooting, and training at customer locations.
• Utilize pre- and post-trial documentation as well as visit reports to enhance customer success.
• Act as the technical intermediary among customers and teams in product development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing.
• Deliver technical support to regional clients through product recommendations, substrate assessments, complaint investigations, diagnosis of line issues, and application-based problem-solving.
• Strategically plan, execute, and communicate laboratory and pilot-scale requests for customer and market initiatives.
• Evaluate coating weight, appearance, adhesion, performance, and processability.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that summarize trial outcomes, technical insights, conclusions, and suggested next steps.
• Convey technical information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Offer market-specific coatings expertise through customer interactions and industry knowledge.
• Fulfill necessary site and field safety obligations.
• Enhance technical and professional skills through continuous learning, mentorship, and active participation in technical communities.
• Expertise in coatings-focused application engineering.
• Proficiency in leading product demonstrations, technology showcases, coating trials, troubleshooting, and customer training.
• Capability to translate customer application requirements into product, process, and support specifications.
• Experience in product recommendations, substrate evaluations, complaint investigations, and diagnosing line issues.
