Lead Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Take the lead on technical matters and initiatives for NX Filtration across North America.

• Manage technical inquiries from customers, OEMs, EPCs, consulting engineering firms, and end users.

• Oversee customer and partner accounts from a technical standpoint.

• Facilitate technical discussions, customer presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.

• Assist the sales team with technical assessments, proposals, presentations, and customer interactions.

• Prepare projections, analyze water data and operating conditions, and offer technical recommendations.

• Act as the primary technical liaison between the North American organization and NX Filtration headquarters.

• Supervise the North American pilot fleet and manage pilot maintenance, servicing, and deployment.

• Support pilot and full-scale installations, including commissioning, start-up, operator training, and performance assessments.

• Provide field engineering and troubleshooting assistance during both pilot and full-scale project execution.

• Serve as the main technical point of contact for OEMs, EPC contractors, consulting engineers, and end users.

• Collaborate closely with NX Filtration's technical teams based in the Netherlands.

• Travel regularly across North America.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Technology, or a related discipline.

• Background in water treatment, membrane filtration, or process engineering.

• Familiarity with water treatment processes and membrane technologies.

• Experience in system installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Customer-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated attitude.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout North America.
