L&D Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with HR, business, and functional leaders to identify capability and performance gaps and uncover root causes.

• Persuasively engage and constructively challenge stakeholders to look beyond training requests and determine the appropriate response.

• Convert organizational priorities into actionable learning and capability solutions utilizing internal knowledge, external providers, digital tools, and AI.

• Design, facilitate, oversee, and assess learning and capability initiatives.

• Provide HR, Business Group Learning Leads, and Functional Learning Owners with the necessary tools and guidance for effective learning management.

• Assist in prioritizing capabilities and further developing the Learning Lead model and Learning Councils.

• Enhance the measurement of learning effectiveness, transfer, and business impact.

• Investigate digital, AI-driven, and scalable strategies to expand L&D reach and efficacy.

• Develop and implement a new capability development framework across three EMEA Business Groups, various businesses, functions, countries, and employee demographics.

• Serve as a reliable and influential partner to HR, business, and functional leaders throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Learning & Development.

• Proven track record as a proficient L&D professional/leader.

• Comprehensive understanding of adult learning, behavior change, and learning transfer.

• Strong capabilities in performance consulting and business partnering.

• Proficient in diagnosing root causes and identifying appropriate L&D responses.

• Ability to establish credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

• Experience in navigating a complex, matrixed organization across multiple functions, countries, and/or Business Groups.

• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain settings is essential.

• Fluent in English (C1–C2).

• Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
