📋 Description

• Manage escalated property claims files that involve intricate contents.

• Perform comprehensive coverage investigations to ensure accurate application of policies.

• Utilize advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors, assess damages, and create contents damage estimates.

• Engage with customers empathetically throughout the claims process.

• Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Collaborate with structure adjusters for a comprehensive approach to claim handling.

• Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making.

• Examine property claims through meticulous damage assessments and policy analysis.

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video chat, adjusting to their communication preferences.

• Employ claim-handling strategies to effectively manage challenging and complex situations.

• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms in a dynamic environment.

• Ensure timely and precise documentation in the claims system.

• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in New York or New Jersey.

• At least 4 years of experience using estimating software such as Xactimate for complex contents estimating.

• Prior experience in managing property insurance claims.

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Capable of delivering a seamless customer service experience.

• Ability to work independently from a home office.

• Proficiency in developing innovative solutions to challenges and setbacks.

• Highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.

• Active adjuster and/or appraiser license as required by the office/area, or the ability to obtain necessary license(s) within 60 days of hire.

• Relevant active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Dedicated home workspace that is free from distractions, equipped with suitable desk and seating.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speed.
