Large Loss Contents, Inside Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage escalated claims files that involve intricate contents.

• Perform coverage investigations to ensure the correct application of policies.

• Leverage advanced video technology to work with onsite vendors, assess damages, and create contents damage estimates.

• Engage empathetically with customers throughout the claims process.

• Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Collaborate with structure adjusters for comprehensive claim management.

• Utilize data and analytics to guide decision-making.

• Examine property claims through detailed damage evaluations and policy interpretation.

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video chat, keeping them informed.

• Employ estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims efficiently.

• Implement policies in accordance with policy agreements.

• Maintain precise claims-system records along with timely and accurate documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience using estimating software such as Xactimate for complex contents estimating.

• Previous experience in handling property insurance claims.

• Experience managing over 100 inventory items per claim.

• Capability to deliver a seamless customer service experience.

• Ability to devise creative solutions to challenges and setbacks.

• Organized and adept at multitasking within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, with rotational Saturday duties.

• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary depending on the office/area; if relevant, the required license(s) must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

• Candidates applying for an adjuster position who possess a resident producer license must relinquish that license when directed.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace with suitable desk and seating is essential.

• Reliable internet connectivity with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
