This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop scopes for LMI/skills-gap studies, data plans, and analytic frameworks.

• Assess occupational demand, supply, wages, credentials, and regional workforce risks utilizing public and administrative data.

• Transform findings into recommendations that are relevant to employers and policymakers.

• Create clear written reports, briefings, and optional presentations for boards or workforce development boards (WDB).

• Collaborate with AlphaGov evaluation subject matter experts (SMEs) when addressing program-impact inquiries.

• Provide methods appendices and technical narratives for AlphaGov proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in labor-market analysis, workforce research, regional economics, or similar public-sector analytical roles.

• Proven track record in delivering skills-gap, occupational, or LMI studies for a workforce development board (WDB), state agency, regional council, or similar public client.

• Strong proficiency in quantitative methods and the ability to write in plain language.

• Capability to reference specific past public projects (including agency, role, and year).

• Preferred: Familiarity with WIOA/WDB; experience with Python, R, Stata, or advanced Excel; prior consulting or subconsulting experience; and experience working alongside program evaluators.
