This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +4 more countries.
• Execute intricate and sensitive investigations pertaining to employee relations issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breaches of policy.
• Develop innovative solutions by collecting and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and compiling detailed investigation reports and presentations.
• Offer guidance and support to management on labor relations matters, encompassing union organizing initiatives, contract negotiations, and grievance handling.
• Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities within designated business units.
• Act as a Labor and Employee Relations expert on potential restructuring business cases and proposals for role terminations in the EMEA region.
• Provide training, coaching, and counseling to HR Business Partners.
• Function as a strategic thought partner to assigned business units.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR Business Partnering, or other relevant HR positions.
• Proven history of conducting complex investigations, persuading stakeholders, and delivering effective business solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
• Experience collaborating with labor unions and handling collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Additional proficiency in a European language, particularly German or French, is a plus.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPID, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are advantageous.
