Labor and Employment Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in labor and employment law across all phases of legal proceedings.

• Prepare defenses, appeals, and other essential legal documents, including Ordinary Appeals, Review Appeals, challenges to calculations, motions to stay or contest enforcement, interlocutory appeals in enforcement matters, and writs of mandamus.

• Keep track of procedural updates and update information in the internal/client system.

• Review hearing calendars, participate in hearing preparation meetings, request necessary documents and supporting materials, handle payment requests, and oversee deadlines.

• Conduct hearings and present oral arguments effectively.

• Formulate litigation strategies and assess information and documents to navigate proceedings.

• Thoroughly examine judgments and appellate rulings and draft appeals.

• Participate in mediation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in labor and employment law is preferred.

• Required knowledge of labor law, labor procedures, and civil procedures.

• Prior experience in labor and employment advisory roles along with high-volume litigation.
