This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead the long-term strategic development for a collection of high-priority accounts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Foster trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
• Establish governance structures, executive steering committees, strategic business reviews, and performance milestones.
• Design, initiate, and expand robotic surgery programs that align with customer priorities.
• Support ongoing enhancement of program performance and progress towards centers of excellence.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the scope of robotic surgery into new clinical areas and care environments.
• Build relationships with teaching hospitals, residency and fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and professional medical organizations.
• Assist academic partners in creating robotic surgery education and training pathways.
• Formulate long-term capital expansion strategies.
• Clearly communicate the clinical, operational, and economic benefits of robotic surgery programs for investment decisions and business cases.
• Coordinate efforts among Sales, Marketing, Clinical & Medical Affairs, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive execution of account strategies.
• Provide customer and market insights to inform broader DACH and regional strategies.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 7 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Demonstrated success in strategic account management, preferably within medical devices, surgical robotics, or a related healthcare field.
• Strong capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at clinical, operational, and executive levels.
• Experience in developing and implementing complex, multi-stakeholder programs within hospital or health system settings.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• In-depth understanding of the DACH healthcare landscape is a considerable advantage.
• Must adhere to applicable U.S. export-control requirements where relevant.
