This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the long-term developmental strategy for a portfolio of key accounts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Foster trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
• Set up account governance, executive steering committees, strategic business reviews, and performance benchmarks.
• Design, implement, and expand robotic surgery programs in collaboration with customers.
• Assist in the ongoing improvement and development of programs aimed at achieving recognized centers of excellence.
• Identify opportunities to introduce robotic surgery into new clinical domains and care environments.
• Build relationships with teaching hospitals, residency and fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and professional medical organizations.
• Aid academic partners in creating educational and training pathways for robotic surgery.
• Formulate long-term strategies for capital expansion.
• Communicate the clinical, operational, and economic benefits of robotic surgery programs.
• Coordinate efforts among Sales, Marketing, Clinical & Medical Affairs, and other internal teams.
• Provide customer and market insights to inform DACH and regional strategies.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the medical device sector is required.
• A proven history in strategic account management, ideally in medical devices, surgical robotics, or a related healthcare area.
• Strong capability to engage and persuade senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, and executive levels.
• Experience in developing and implementing complex, multi-stakeholder programs within healthcare or hospital settings.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project coordination abilities.
• Comfortable functioning within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
• Proficiency in both German and English is necessary.
• A strong understanding of the DACH healthcare landscape is a notable advantage.
• Travel is required approximately 75% of the time.
