This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the long-term development strategy for a portfolio of key accounts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Foster trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
• Set up account governance frameworks, including executive steering committees, strategic business reviews, and performance milestones.
• Design, implement, and expand robotic surgery programs in collaboration with customers.
• Promote continuous program improvement and development towards achieving centers of excellence.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the application of robotic surgery into additional clinical areas and care environments.
• Build relationships with teaching hospitals, residency and fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and professional medical organizations.
• Assist academic partners in creating educational and training pathways for robotic surgery.
• Formulate capital expansion strategies that align with customer priorities and growth potential.
• Clearly communicate the clinical, operational, and economic advantages of robotic surgery programs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical and Medical Affairs, and other internal teams for cohesive account execution.
• Provide customer and market insights to inform DACH and regional strategies.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• At least 7 years of experience in the medical device industry is required.
• A proven history in strategic account management, ideally in medical devices, surgical robotics, or a related healthcare sector.
• Strong capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at clinical, operational, and executive levels.
• Experience in developing and executing complex, multi-stakeholder programs within hospital or health system settings.
• Excellent skills in communication, facilitation, and project coordination.
• Comfort in navigating a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
• Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of the DACH healthcare landscape is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel: 75% of the time.
