Key Account Manager – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of local supply and distribution networks, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to optimize portfolio performance and discover new business prospects.

• Oversee trade and wholesale channels to enhance both current and future Link products and services.

• Ensure healthcare professionals, procurement teams, and financial decision-makers in hospitals and distribution channels are well-informed about product and service offerings.

• Facilitate communication and create strategic value propositions tailored to different stakeholders.

• Establish and develop customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to contractual commitments.

• Work collaboratively across departments to maximize business opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline the tender evaluation process and submissions.

• Identify and execute strategies for local and regional product portfolio placement.

• Conduct market analysis to pinpoint and assess future business opportunities.

• Develop, maintain, and implement strategic account plans.

• Utilize CRM systems to manage customer interactions and keep accurate local intelligence.

• Attend industry conferences and events as required, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

• Achieve sales targets and effectively launch KPIs in a timely manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.

• Proven expertise in the local market.

• A strong history of meeting revenue, profit, and sales objectives.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of independent work.

• Capability to operate both strategically and tactically across accounts.

• Experience engaging with local wholesalers and tender groups throughout the supply chain.

• Prior successful sales or account management experience in a hospital setting is essential.

• Ability to innovate and effectively solve problems.

• Proficiency in forecasting and analyzing market trends to suggest advantageous solutions.
