Key Account Manager – Energy Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts in the energy industry, acting as a strategic partner for stakeholders involved in energy transition.

• Develop a sustainable sales pipeline.

• Represent IT Sonix at pertinent industry events, including E-world.

• Provide guidance to decision-makers on smart metering, smart grid management, and the application of AI for load forecasting or grid optimization.

• Manage sales operations while adhering to critical industry regulations, such as KRITIS, BSI requirements, and the IT Security Catalogue.

• Collaborate closely with agile coaches, UI/UX designers, and software developers.

• Co-create customized, highly secure software solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration, or an equivalent qualification with a strong emphasis on the energy sector or IT.

• Several years of demonstrated B2B sales experience within the utilities sector, or considerable experience at an energy supplier or consultancy.

• In-depth understanding of industry processes, including generation, grid management, sales, and trading.

• Strong interest in modern software architectures, AI applications, and data security.

• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

• Capability to convincingly represent and advocate for an agile culture with clients.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities at the management level.

• Diplomatic skills when engaging with complex stakeholder structures.

• A strong network within the energy sector.

• Proficient in written and spoken German.
