This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop strategies for target accounts and regional markets, concentrating on Defense and regulated sectors in the UK and Scandinavia.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline, which includes early-stage opportunities.
• Manage customer relationships, account development, and deal strategy.
• Lead negotiations and discussions regarding contracts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, project teams, and product management.
• Establish and enhance relationships within military organizations, procurement agencies, and defense prime contractors.
• Provide insights into market trends, competitors, and customer intelligence.
• Support business driven by tenders and structured procurement processes.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities within both existing and new accounts.
• Manage commercial opportunities from initial identification to contract closure.
• Take charge of customer engagement, negotiation, and deal strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams in engineering, product management, and specialists on solution development, proposal preparation, and project execution.
• Over 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management.
• A strong hunter mentality coupled with strategic account development capabilities.
• Background in Defense, military, or other regulated industries.
• A pre-existing network within military organizations, defense procurement agencies, and prime contractors is highly sought after.
• Established relationships with key British procurement and acquisition organizations, such as the British Ministry of Defense, are a significant advantage.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a solid network in military procurement and acquisition bodies.
• Experience in managing long and complex sales cycles for projects.
• Proven experience in selling technical products or solutions within a B2B context.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel nationally across the UK and Scandinavia.
• Strong understanding of project-based sales environments.
• Capability to align customer needs with internal project and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with tenders and structured procurement processes.
