Key Account Manager – Convenience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with major Convenience accounts within the designated territory

• Ensure product availability, optimal shelf placement, and visibility of items

• Identify opportunities to broaden product offerings, enhance shelf positioning, and boost sales volume

• Create and implement customized sales strategies and in-store promotions for key accounts

• Collaborate with the category management team to optimize product assortment

• Establish pricing strategies and enhance account pricing for profitability and competitiveness

• Partner with marketing, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams

• Propel sales and market share growth within the Convenience sector

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, sales, or category management

• Preferably experience in the CPG industry and convenience channel

• Experience in managing key accounts, building relationships, and driving sales in convenience-store or retail settings

• Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends

• Capable of developing actionable strategies that promote account growth and profitability

• Effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Familiar with CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future

• Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment and independently from a home office

• Must reside in South Texas

• Willingness to travel up to 20%

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

• Strong PC skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
