Key Account Manager – Convenience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key Convenience accounts within the designated territory

• Ensure product availability, optimal shelf positioning, and visibility to drive sales

• Recognize opportunities to broaden product offerings, enhance shelf placement, and boost sales volume

• Formulate and implement customized sales strategies and in-store promotions for key accounts

• Align account strategies with the larger company goals to maximize brand visibility

• Collaborate with category management to refine product assortment for each key account

• Execute pricing strategies and optimize pricing for enhanced profitability and competitiveness

• Partner with marketing, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams

• Propel sales and market share expansion within the Convenience sector

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline

• At least 3 years of experience in key account management, sales, or category management, ideally within the CPG industry and convenience channel

• Solid experience managing key accounts, cultivating relationships, and driving sales in convenience store or retail settings

• Capability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop practical account-growth and profitability strategies

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future

• Ability to perform efficiently in a remote work environment from a home office

• Must reside in Ohio

• Willingness to travel up to 20%

• Strong capability to thrive in a fast-paced and matrixed environment

• Proficient PC skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
