This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee designated territories and secure new business by fostering trusted relationships with Data Center Operators and/or Facility Managers.
• Spot opportunities and turn them into sales.
• Illustrate the financial advantages of Sunbird products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure success within the territory.
• Handle enterprise customer relationships effectively.
• Scout for new business opportunities and consult with potential customers to offer mutually advantageous solutions.
• Achieve assigned goals for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives through effective pipeline development and a high win rate.
• Guide solution development initiatives that address end-user requirements while coordinating relevant company resources.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for both new and existing accounts.
• Employ proactive and consultative selling techniques to enhance market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Provide regular updates on customer account status and performance to senior management through CRM.
• Engage in industry and promotional events, such as trade shows and conferences, to strengthen customer relationships.
• Develop and qualify new business opportunities.
• Comprehend customer purchasing processes.
• Formulate and adapt enterprise sales methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in selling enterprise software applications and managing significant accounts.
• Enthusiasm for technology products.
• Capacity to quickly learn new technology and grasp it at an advanced level.
• Established business development process and skill set.
• Experience in both channel and direct sales.
• Pre-sales experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage and nurture major C-level accounts with a referenceable track record.
• Strong skills in account management and relationship building.
• Knowledge and experience in multi-level selling and account management within large corporate environments.
• Existing network of data center infrastructure managers, directors, and VPs to facilitate access.
• Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with customers while delivering educational insights.
• Formal training in strategic/solution sales methodologies, such as Sandler, Challenger, Strategic, or SPIN.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Exchange and CRM systems.
• Candidate must reside within the Northern California territory.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.
• BA/BS degree or technological certifications are preferred.
