This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and driving revenue growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships at the executive level, acting as a trusted advisor and primary strategic liaison.
• Facilitate business reviews, executive alignment sessions, and quarterly performance evaluations to assess results and pinpoint opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients on growth trajectories, innovation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recognize, assess, and pursue expansion prospects across various services, business units, locations, and solution offerings.
• Manage customer performance metrics and KPIs, offering insights and recommendations to enhance operational and financial outcomes.
• Oversee the resolution of intricate business issues while balancing customer needs with the organization’s goals.
• Work in conjunction with Operations, Sales, Finance, Solutions Design, IT, Engineering, and Implementation teams to guarantee successful customer results.
• Convert customer objectives, challenges, and priorities into actionable internal strategies and resource allocations.
• Advocate for digital transformation, automation, and technology-driven solutions.
• Monitor account health, identify retention threats, and implement proactive strategies for mitigation.
• Propel account forecasting, revenue planning, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Act as the organization’s representative in executive sponsor programs, customer strategy discussions, industry events, and other high-profile engagements.
• Provide market intelligence, industry insights, and competitive feedback to facilitate business planning and solution creation.
• Foster a customer-centric culture by aligning cross-functional stakeholders with account objectives and customer commitments.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in strategic account management, enterprise customer success, business development, or similar customer-facing leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in managing intricate customer portfolios with annual revenues ranging from approximately $15M to over $50M.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics, transportation, supply chain management, contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, or related industries.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing account growth strategies that enhance revenue, customer retention, and profitability.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence, negotiate, and establish credibility with senior leadership both internally and externally.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and aligning Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, Solutions Design, Engineering, and Implementation functions.
• Outstanding analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities with a consultative problem-solving approach.
• Proven discretion and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and web conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.).
• Willingness to travel for related meetings/events is a must.
• Professional certifications such as CSCMP, APICS/ASCM, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
• Experience serving customers in life sciences, aerospace, automotive, high-tech, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, or related sectors is preferred.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
