This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Serve as the primary contact within Axis for designated major end-customer accounts.
• Oversee accounts on a daily basis from initial assignment through transition.
• Strategically enhance Axis relationships across various product lines, geographical areas, and extended timelines.
• Facilitate account sales and implementation through presentations, proposals, pilot-install site management, and integration testing.
• Manage relationships with end users and ecosystem partners.
• Build account teams and coordinate resources and communications across sales, business development, marketing, and technical services.
• Draft and maintain account documentation, including meeting minutes, notes, designs, CRM records, and tracking tools.
• Contribute to account design through site surveys, camera recommendations, camera placement, field of view, pixels on target, site drawings, system design, and third-party integration suggestions.
• Keep accurate documentation of product configurations and specifications.
• Generate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports as necessary.
• Coordinate post-sales support and technical assistance.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales, National / Key Accounts, Sales Engineering, or Project Management, preferably within video and physical security markets.
• Strong account management and team-building abilities, with a keen attention to detail and strategic planning.
• Capacity to establish strategic and trusted relationships at all levels with the end user.
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple integrators, distributors, and partners competing for the same account.
• Excellent verbal, listening, written, presentation, and training skills.
• High level of technical proficiency for shootouts, proof of concepts, pilots, and both pre- and post-sale troubleshooting.
• Skilled in conveying complex technologies and specifications in an understandable manner.
• Proficient in design documentation skills, including schematics, flow charts, metrics, FOV, and pixels on target.
• Strong understanding of the physical security market, including products and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with video transport protocols and compression technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Occasionally able to lift 20–40 lbs.
• Ability to climb and stand on ladders or lifts for extended periods.
• Capacity to work at heights, including ceilings, ladders, and rooftops.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% occasionally.
