This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with customer goals and Abbott's business priorities.
• Identify, map, and influence key stakeholders within healthcare systems.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, hospital administrators, and executive leaders.
• Negotiate agreements and facilitate long-term commitments from customers.
• Discover new business opportunities and stimulate demand for Abbott’s Endovascular portfolio.
• Offer technical and clinical expertise during live procedures and case evaluations.
• Assist in product utilization within Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology Suites, and Operating Rooms.
• Educate customers on the safe and effective application of Abbott technologies.
• Illustrate the clinical, operational, and economic benefits of Abbott solutions.
• Aid in the launch and adoption of new products and technologies.
• Analyze customer business requirements and devise innovative solutions.
• Lead discussions focused on value with executive stakeholders.
• Interpret financial and operational metrics effectively.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and changes in healthcare policy.
• Collaborate with various Abbott divisions to provide a unified customer experience.
• Maintain records of account, customer, and opportunity information in OneForce CRM.
• Document customer interactions and uphold market intelligence and territory data.
• Monitor territory performance, market share, and sales trends diligently.
• Develop territory strategies based on sales data and account analytics.
• Provide forecasting and business reporting.
• Collaborate with Clinical Specialists, Marketing, and other internal teams.
• Support both national and regional business initiatives.
• Share insights from the market and customer feedback.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across divisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of proven sales experience in selling complex products, solutions, or medical technologies.
• Demonstrated ability in managing strategic accounts and executive-level customer relationships.
• Proven success in value-based and solution-oriented selling environments.
• Strong business and financial acumen is essential.
• Experience in the medical device, healthcare, vascular, cardiovascular, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and foster customer partnerships is essential.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel within Canada (15–50% depending on territory).
• Availability for international travel for training and meetings (approximately 5%).
• Proficient communication skills in English are required.
• Experience assisting physicians in procedural settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with vascular, endovascular, cardiovascular, or interventional technologies is preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems such as OneForce or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and strategic planning are necessary.
• This is a field-based position.
• Availability to meet customer needs outside of standard business hours as required.
• Regular travel within the assigned territory is expected.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
• Experience working with CRM and business reporting tools is advantageous.
