This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement annual and multi-year strategies for account growth that align with Salomon's business goals.
• Create comprehensive multi-year growth plans.
• Lead Joint Business Planning initiatives and set measurable growth objectives with key account stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly shipments, providing needs and updates to essential stakeholders.
• Pinpoint opportunities for demand generation, expanded distribution, and enhanced market share.
• Manage revenue, margin, forecasting, and inventory efficiency for assigned accounts.
• Monitor performance against budget and growth objectives.
• Analyze sales patterns, business risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Formulate action plans aimed at enhancing account productivity and profitability.
• Direct seasonal assortment planning and sell-in presentations.
• Collaborate with merchants and planners to optimize product selection and inventory investments.
• Propel new category placements, broaden distribution, and increase visibility.
• Coordinate execution across Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Product, and Finance teams.
• Support product launches, significant campaigns, and retail activations.
• Promote operational excellence and resolve issues effectively.
• Build relationships across merchant, planning, inventory, marketing, and executive stakeholder groups.
• Lead business evaluations and strategic planning discussions.
• Influence customer decisions using data, insights, and expertise in the category.
• Monitor performance trends in athletic, footwear, and performance categories.
• Provide competitive intelligence and consumer insights.
• Identify new opportunities to enhance Salomon's brand presence and commercial success.
• 5-8+ years of experience in wholesale sales, national account management, or key account leadership.
• Background in Sales, Merchandising, or Planning with major athletic, footwear, sporting goods, or lifestyle retailers such as Foot Locker, JD Sports, DTLR, or Shoe Palace.
• Experience managing high-volume businesses in Men’s, Women’s, Unisex, and Kids categories.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory management.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth and fostering strategic customer relationships.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to navigate and prioritize brand and business needs among internal stakeholders and senior customer decision-makers.
• Ability to talk and hear; sit, stand, and walk; occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
