This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement a global account strategy in collaboration with scientific and business operations teams.
• Achieve and surpass revenue targets for Tempus Dx and CRO product lines while fulfilling strategic objectives for client accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with executives and R&D personnel, driving the CXO strategy with the support of Tempus senior leadership.
• Gain expertise in partners’ strategies, pipelines, and portfolios to uncover opportunities for the Tempus platform.
• Negotiate, secure, and manage contract execution with assigned client accounts.
• Coordinate with Product Specialists, partner Key Account Directors, Translational Researchers, and Commercial Operations to enhance client value.
• Create and present impactful case studies with clients utilizing Tempus Dx and CRO platforms.
• Relay client feedback to Leadership to assist in Life Sciences portfolio development.
• Monitor strategic objectives and revenue targets alongside Account Teams and Tempus Leadership.
• Travel approximately 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development and Sales within the Life Sciences sector, acting as the primary account manager for Pharma/Biotech.
• Ideally, at least 5 years of experience with organizations that support Life Sciences companies in R&D and/or diagnostic solutions employed in clinical trial selection.
• Strong understanding of drug and diagnostic regulatory approval processes in both the U.S. and internationally.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and timelines.
• Proven ability to establish trust and credibility with clients as a strategic advisor.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and finalizing large, complex, multi-year agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Business discipline.
• An advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or Healthcare certification) is preferred.
