Junior/Semi-Senior Back-End Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and sustain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.

• Develop scalable applications utilizing Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Work collaboratively with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Enhance applications for performance, reliability, and security.

• Diagnose, debug, and refine existing applications.

• Recognize opportunities for technical enhancements and adopt best practices.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and contemporary back-end development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development.

• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and industry best practices.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with ORM frameworks.

• Proficient in Git and software development best practices.

• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues such as Celery is beneficial.

• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a readiness to take ownership and pursue continuous learning.
