Junior/Mid-Level Full-Stack Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance full-stack platform features encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, SDKs, and data systems.

• Create services backed by Python or Go, and engage with JavaScript or TypeScript on product-facing interfaces.

• Assist in managing data pipelines and platform workflows that integrate biometric data, enterprise systems, and AI-driven infrastructure.

• Work collaboratively with senior engineers on architecture, implementation, deployment, and technical trade-offs.

• Deliver clean, reliable code within a compliance-sensitive environment.

• Troubleshoot production-related issues, analyze data flow, and continuously enhance the platform.

• Act swiftly without waiting for every detail to be defined.

• Quickly familiarize yourself with the existing platform and produce valuable contributions.

• Take ownership of well-defined full-stack, API, SDK, backend, or data-pipeline tasks from inception to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical full-stack software engineering experience gained from a professional job, internship, startup, open-source contributions, or significant shipped projects.

• Proficient in Python or Go.

• Experience in developing backend services, APIs, SDKs, or data pipelines.

• Hands-on frontend experience, particularly with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of Git, testing, debugging, deployment, interfaces, and data flow.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift rapidly.

• Capable of clearly communicating trade-offs and eager to learn from senior engineers.

• Willingness to undergo a live coding assessment.

• Must have previously developed and delivered real software; this role is not suited for classroom-only experience.

• Recent graduates may qualify if they have exceptional evidence of full-stack projects, internships, startups, or open-source contributions.
