Junior Telco Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise documentation of the Fixed Services product portfolio, which includes Voice, VoIP, Signaling, and Capacity, within inventory tools according to project low-level design.

• Maintain service and network information by creating and updating low-level configurations in specific inventory systems in line with internal routing guidelines.

• Collaborate effectively with Regional Technical Managers (RTMs).

• Assist in high-level and low-level design activities for projects such as TDM/VoIP implementations.

• Guarantee data quality and consistency.

• Facilitate ongoing improvement and organization of documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with a mobile or fixed telecom operator is beneficial.

• Understanding of telecom networks and topology, including core network elements and their respective functions.

• Knowledge of service fulfillment and telecom operational processes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with voice switching and routing protocols and services, including TDM and VoIP.

• Knowledge of transmission technologies, such as SDH and IP.

• Basic understanding of SS7 signaling.

• Interest in managing configuration data across various systems and tools.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Attention to detail and quality.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
