Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development and enhancement of tracking and notification services.

• Write, review, and deploy high-volume production code.

• Collaborate with the engineering team on design choices, code reviews, and daily problem resolution.

• Work alongside a globally distributed team across product, engineering, and operations.

• Engage in development using microservices, event-driven systems, and AWS cloud-native architecture.

• Integrate AI tools into the daily development workflow.

• Contribute to building systems that manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipment data, address edge cases, and meet scaling requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles: data structures, algorithms, clean coding practices, and version control.

• Practical experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including writing actual queries and considering data implications.

• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to solve challenges.

• Passion for utilizing AI as a development tool and integrating it into the products being created.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or PHP (preferred).

• Experience with cloud services or distributed systems through projects, internships, or personal endeavors (preferred).

• Understanding of Python, TypeScript, PHP, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS, Serverless Framework, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions as part of the target growth environment.
