Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the advancement and enhancement of tracking and notification services.

• Write, review, and deploy high-volume production code.

• Collaborate with the engineering team on design choices, code evaluations, and daily problem resolution.

• Work alongside a distributed, global team spanning product, engineering, and operations.

• Engage directly with microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development on AWS.

• Utilize AI tools daily as an integral part of the development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles: data structures, algorithms, clean coding practices, and version control.

• Practical experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including crafting real queries and considering data management.

• A genuine sense of curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Passion for leveraging AI as a development tool as well as in the company's offerings.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or PHP (preferred).

• Familiarity with cloud services or distributed systems through projects, internships, or personal endeavors (preferred).

• Capability to work with or develop proficiency in Python, TypeScript, PHP, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS, Serverless Framework, Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
