This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in the planning, creation, and scheduling of captivating content for Soft Gallery's social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok.
• Contribute to establishing Soft Gallery's online presence and brand identity from the ground up.
• Generate, edit, and publish posts, reels, short-form videos, and captions.
• Organize and implement the social media content calendar, adjusting to current trends and formats.
• Monitor engagement, comments, and direct messages to foster an active and responsive community.
• Conduct research on artists, exhibitions, and cultural events to enrich content and support newsletter initiatives.
• Track and report metrics on reach, engagement, followers, and growth.
• Keep abreast of social media trends and tools, including AI content tools, Canva, and video-editing platforms.
• Suggest innovative strategies and work towards full ownership of Soft Gallery's social media.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, with a keen eye for tone, grammar, and brand voice.
• A genuine, native-level familiarity with Instagram and TikTok as a user, enjoying trend discovery and new formats.
• Strong visual sensibility and aesthetic awareness, combined with creative thinking and digital intuition.
• Open to candidates with limited professional experience but possessing strong content creation skills and social media instincts; freshers with a robust portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• Proactive approach, contributing ideas instead of waiting for direction; organized, dependable, and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable learning new tools, including AI content tools, Canva, and video-editing platforms.
• Interest in contemporary art, fashion, design, or culture, or a desire to learn about the art world.
• Experience with social media scheduling or analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Basic skills in photography, videography, or graphic design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• Structured training in social media strategy, Instagram, storytelling, community building, and analytics.
• Introduction to the contemporary art realm—gain insights into researching artists, exhibitions, and cultural events.
