Junior QA Automation, API

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage and improve current automated test scripts and frameworks

• Conduct both manual and automated testing for web and API applications

• Work closely with developers to identify, document, and track defects using Jira

• Execute regression, smoke, and sanity test suites while analyzing outcomes

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and assist in the creation of test documentation

• Help integrate automated tests into TestOps

• Report testing progress and any obstacles to team members

• Acquire knowledge of and implement new testing tools and methodologies

• Conduct vulnerability assessments along with Mobile Threat Defense application and SDK testing

• Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality, secure software releases

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing and automation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Proficient in Java and Selenium WebDriver

• Fundamental knowledge of API testing, including REST Assured or Postman

• Strong grasp of SQL fundamentals

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git version control

• Experience in automation testing, maintenance of UI/API automation frameworks, and API automation tools

• Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest

• Understanding of data-driven testing principles

• Implementation experience with Page Object Model (POM)

• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

• Essential skills include: Selenium WebDriver, Java, API Testing, SQL, Git, Jira, and Agile Methodology
