Junior Google Ads Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Establish, oversee, and enhance Google Ads campaigns

• Operate across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns

• Execute keyword and competitor analysis

• Organize campaigns and craft advertising copy

• Monitor budgets, bids, Quality Scores, and overall campaign performance

• Track and improve CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates

• Perform account audits to identify optimization and growth opportunities

• Maintain conversion tracking utilizing Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager

• Collaborate with internal account managers and team members

• Participate in one daily team meeting

• Stay updated on Google Ads advancements, tools, and best practices

• Manage approximately one to 20 accounts, with typical accounts needing two to four hours weekly after initial setup

⛳️ Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience with Google Ads

• Strong enthusiasm for paid search and performance marketing

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Proficient written English and skills in advertising copy

• Ability to analyze campaign data and make effective optimization choices

• Curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn

• Capability to work independently and take ownership of account performance

• Reliable internet connection and capacity to work remotely

• Comfortable using Hubstaff during work hours

• Availability for working-hour overlap with the team between 8:00 and 15:00 EDT

• Participation in one daily team meeting

• Applications should include an up-to-date CV, relevant certifications if available, examples of practical work or results, and a Loom video introduction

• Agency experience and Google Ads certification are beneficial

• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Google Shopping, Performance Max, offline conversion tracking, GCLID-based CRM imports, Meta Ads, or Microsoft Ads is a plus
