Junior Developer, Finance Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, customization, testing, and support of Elite 3E along with associated financial and practice management platforms.

• Provide assistance with workflows, business processes, interfaces, and automation solutions.

• Write, test, and troubleshoot code under the guidance of senior developers.

• Engage in debugging, issue resolution, software deployments, and updates.

• Aid in the integration of financial systems with third-party applications.

• Work with REST APIs, data exchange technologies, XML, and JSON.

• Support data transformation, exchange, and integration maintenance.

• Participate in project meetings and sessions for requirements gathering.

• Document technical requirements, design specifications, and implementation activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.

• Provide updates regarding assigned tasks and project activities.

• Adhere to development standards and partake in code reviews and quality assurance processes.

• Utilize Git or comparable source control tools.

• Continuously enhance technical and consulting skills through training and project involvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.

• Equivalent education, internships, or relevant technical training will be considered.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development.

• Desirable experience includes internships, co-ops, academic projects, or entry-level software development roles.

• Preferred exposure to Microsoft development technologies or object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with APIs, web services, or integration concepts is advantageous.

• Experience in a team environment and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential.

• Preferred knowledge of C# or other object-oriented programming languages, .NET Framework or .NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git or other version control tools, and Power Automate.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Professional demeanor and readiness to work directly with clients whenever necessary.

• Capacity to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic consulting environment.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.
