SAP Support Consultant, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers concerning SAP application support, particularly in Finance.

• Receive, evaluate, and handle support requests and incident reports using the ticketing system.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality operational SAP support for customers on a daily basis.

• Analyze incidents, change requests, and error notifications related to financial processes.

• Reproduce, evaluate, and permanently resolve issues within customer systems.

• Collaborate closely with and coordinate internal subject-matter experts and SAP for more intricate topics.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, workarounds, known errors, and process details.

• Provide coverage and assistance for adjacent SAP modules within the support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar qualification with a strong grasp of business processes.

• Several years of experience in SAP Finance, preferably with a focus on SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud.

• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including customization in the FI, CO, and AA modules, and ideally in related modules such as SD, MM, and PP.

• Experience in SAP application support and familiarity with ticketing tools.

• An analytical, solution-oriented, and customer-centric mindset.

• A self-sufficient, organized, and dependable approach to work.

• Strong team spirit, resilience, and a passion for operational support and customer engagement.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
