Junior Credit Risk Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the financial statements of both current and potential clients to determine their creditworthiness.

• Assist in the creation of credit risk reports and risk grading assessments for individual clients.

• Help in monitoring and reporting on credit risk exposure throughout the company's portfolio.

• Assess the credit risk associated with both new and existing counterparties by utilizing financial ratios and industry benchmarks.

• Gather and analyze financial data to detect trends, patterns, and potential risks.

• Maintain and refresh the credit risk database, ensuring it remains accurate and complete.

• Review the company's credit portfolio and suggest adjustments when necessary.

• Generate reports for senior management and regulatory agencies as required.

• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and external regulatory standards.

• Take part in audits and prepare necessary audit documentation.

• Collaborate with the finance, sales, and legal teams to collect information for credit evaluations.

• Assist the Senior Credit Risk Accountant and Credit Risk Manager with special projects and various ad-hoc tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the skill to interpret and analyze financial information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial analysis software is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Keen attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the position.

• Availability to work mid-shift in the Philippines (2pm - 11pm local time).

• Recent graduate or possess 1-2 years of relevant experience.
