Junior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform research on internal case workload data and various information sources.

• Develop and update reports tailored to customer specifications and spontaneous information requests.

• Assist management by providing information, insights, and recommendations for operational and system modifications.

• Contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Support contract teams as needed.

• Deliver outreach and training as directed by management.

• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and conferences.

• Assist other in-office teams as location allows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 years of experience with a BS/BA; 0 years with an MS/MA; or 6 years with a HS Diploma.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Access, Excel, reporting extracts, and Web Intelligence or similar tools.

• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge of report editing and analysis.

• Proven capability to work with diverse systems, data sources, and analytical tools.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Ability to analyze data to identify and compare norms, trends, and patterns.

• Capacity to present issues of concern and reference regulatory violations to substantiate findings.

• Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.

• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet stringent deadlines.

• Capability to manage confidential information appropriately.

• Ability to conduct independent research to identify issues in workload reporting, data input, information processing, or operational efficiencies.

• Willingness to attend meetings, training, and conferences; overnight travel may be required on occasion.

• Ability to support other in-office teams as location allows.

• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Preferred experience in healthcare.

• Preferred experience with Medicaid/Medicare.
