Junior Accounting Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Manage and monitor vendor invoices

• Assist with daily Accounts Payable functions

• Facilitate requests for information and documentation from auditors, tax professionals, and external consultants

• Aid in the preparation and submission of state, regulatory, and other mandatory compliance filings

• Keep compliance calendars updated and track upcoming obligations

• Help ensure that critical reporting and regulatory deadlines are adhered to

• Maintain accurate, thorough, organized, and audit-ready accounting and compliance records

• Contribute to accounting and compliance projects, process enhancements, and other assigned tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance, or a similar professional setting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and complete records

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet established deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable, accounting operations, regulatory compliance, or audit support

• Experience in coordinating documentation or information requests with auditors, tax advisors, consultants, or other external partners

• Knowledge of compliance calendars, regulatory filings, or deadline-driven financial processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Interest in streamlining processes

• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of accounting operations, compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements

• Collaborative and reliable work style

• Comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks
