This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Take ownership of a complete yet scoped sales cycle for smaller, less complex public-sector accounts from the point of qualified handoff to closure.

• Manage qualified meetings and leads sourced from marketing/SDRs for a specific segment of smaller accounts.

• Sustain and advance a personal pipeline in HubSpot with precise staging and forecasting.

• Conduct discovery calls, customized product demonstrations, and value discussions.

• Oversee pricing, negotiation, and contracting for simpler deals, while working with Senior AEs on more complex opportunities.

• Prepare straightforward RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with internal teams.

• Collaborate with SDRs to ensure high-quality handoffs, lead context, and effective follow-ups.

• Coordinate with Implementation and Account Management to ensure a seamless transition for customers.

• Shadow Senior AEs and allow them to shadow you.

• Keep CRM data, activity logs, and forecasting accurate and up to date.

• Prioritize opportunities based on procurement timelines and potential revenue.

• Acquire knowledge about public-sector procurement practices and the bids&tenders platform.

• Create compelling demo presentations and value propositions.

• Strive for quota achievement, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, sales-cycle efficiency, and customer satisfaction during onboarding.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a closing sales position, or a proven history as an SDR/BDR meeting or surpassing sales quotas.

• Comfortable managing a shorter, simpler full sales cycle from discovery through to closing.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a software workflow to non-technical audiences.

• Coachable, organized, and self-driven, with a genuine desire to advance into a full-cycle AE role.

• Proficient in CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, and sales enablement tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in Canada.
