This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create strategic communication strategies for PMW-200 Aviation Log IT logistics capabilities in alignment with the objectives of the Department of Navy, Department of Army, and DoD transformation initiatives.
• Review, revise, and sustain the existing communication plan.
• Review, prepare, coordinate, and send agreements, letters, memoranda, emails, reports, and various other documents.
• Support special projects and provide administrative and logistical assistance for workshops, conferences, and symposiums.
• Establish and uphold filing systems in accordance with the Naval Correspondence Manual, including document management.
• Execute SharePoint Online responsibilities, such as creating document libraries, uploading files, adding groups and individuals, and configuring permissions.
• Develop and maintain task-tracking systems.
• Utilize and manage databases and information systems; review and reconcile data as necessary.
• Generate reports from informational databases employing standard parameters or specialized queries.
• Provide data entry for project initiation and closure.
• Review technical analyses and research for Total Cost of Ownership models pertaining to IT products and services.
• Conduct technical research, development, analysis, and gather and validate CONOPS requirements.
• Articulate proposed solutions in relation to end-user needs, connections to existing and external systems or procedures, and intended application.
• Execute additional tasks as instructed by leadership.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Capability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Experience in strategic communications within a large, cross-functional organization.
• Ability to research and assess emerging technologies and deliver evaluations in briefs, white papers, or other presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Capacity to quickly shift focus, adjust schedules, and solve problems to accommodate changing work demands and stakeholder requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple competing priorities and tasks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must undergo an extensive background check, including personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record examination, credit checks, and other pertinent background information.
• Preferred: Experience with the Department of Defense.
• Preferred: Project management experience.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in business or a related field.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Cybersecurity authorizations and principles.
• Preferred: Secret clearance.
• Preferred: Experience in facilitating strategic planning meetings, developing strategic plans, goals, and objectives, and preparing acquisition briefs for leadership.
• Flexibility in work hours as project demands dictate.
• Ability to maintain a stationary position at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for typing tasks.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms for computer usage.
• Availability to work core hours of 0700–1700 EST, Monday through Friday.
• Remote work arrangement available.
• Compressed Work Schedule (CWS) may be authorized.
• Minimal travel requirement (less than 5%).
