This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set up and oversee JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems.
• Manage and enhance JIRA configurations to align with business and technical needs.
• Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and various other DevOps tools.
• Support Agile methodologies and associated project management practices.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues pertaining to JIRA administration.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.
• Assist in fulfilling mission requirements for the development, integration, and maintenance of a scalable, federated data ecosystem for a DoD client.
• Facilitate interoperability, governance, real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-specific analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing JIRA workflows.
• Experience in managing issue tracking systems and automating workflows.
• Proficiency in JIRA administration, including the development of workflows and management of permissions.
• Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred.
• A reliable internet connection is required.
• A quiet workspace that is free from interruptions and background noise is necessary.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Flexible, part-time, on-call work arrangement.
