This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with a prominent AI laboratory to enhance the audio data handling and production capabilities of its AI model.

• Accurately transcribe audio or modify transcripts to mirror natural pacing.

• Create voice recordings utilizing a neutral to upbeat customer service tone, ensuring clear enunciation and steady pacing.

• Dedicate 2–10 hours each week over a period of approximately 1–2 weeks.

• Participate in a kickoff meeting.

• Work alongside leading researchers on initiatives aimed at training and refining AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in voice acting is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in speaking and audio through avenues such as Music, Television, Podcasts, Twitch Streaming, Comedy, YouTube, Radio, or similar fields is encouraged.

• Candidates must be native to Japan.

• Proficient in English.

• Capability to communicate in a “customer service” voice with a neutral to upbeat tone, clear enunciation, and consistent pacing.

• Keen attention to detail concerning punctuation, commas, and dashes.

• Ability to transcribe audio exactly as it is or adjust transcripts for natural pacing.

• Possession of a professional audio recording setup, including a home studio with a professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software.

• Availability to join a kickoff call.

• Willingness to commit 2–10 hours per week throughout the project duration.

• Currently, unable to accommodate H1-B or STEM OPT applicants.
