IT Vendor Management Analyst – Infrastructure & Telecom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a comprehensive portfolio of vendor contracts, maintenance agreements, renewals, and licensing deals.

• Supervise vendor relationships encompassing hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications services.

• Evaluate, reconcile, and verify telecom invoices, maintenance renewals, and technology-related expenditures.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of vendor accounts, contracts, assets, and billing documentation.

• Assist with contract renewals, procurement processes, and service modifications in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Monitor and manage infrastructure assets, including networking equipment, routers, switches, circuits, and associated technologies.

• Act as a liaison between internal technology teams and external vendors regarding contract stipulations, service delivery, billing disputes, and renewals.

• Contribute to data center consolidation and technology modernization projects.

• Analyze vendor spending to identify operational efficiencies and potential cost-saving opportunities.

• Aid in purchase requests, software licensing evaluations, hardware maintenance agreements, and procurement workflows.

• Track service agreements and vendor performance metrics.

• Generate reports on contract status, renewals, telecom expenses, and vendor activities.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams to ensure compliance with contracts and risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Telecom Billing, Contract Administration, Technology Asset Management, or related fields.

• Proven experience managing technology vendors, service providers, or telecommunications carriers.

• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments, including networking, data centers, hardware, and supporting software platforms.

• Experience in handling contract renewals, maintenance agreements, software licensing, or technology procurement activities.

• Strong analytical and financial skills with a background in reviewing invoices, contracts, and vendor expenditures.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage a large volume of contracts simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred: experience supporting enterprise Infrastructure, Network, Data Center, or Telecommunications organizations.

• Preferred: familiarity with technology vendors and carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cisco, Dell, HPE, VMware, Microsoft, or similar providers.

• Preferred: experience working with ServiceNow.

• Preferred: proficiency in SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms.

• Preferred: understanding of telecom expense management, asset management, and vendor governance procedures.

• Preferred: experience managing large-scale contract portfolios and enterprise technology expenditures.
